Ardinel L. Candari, Area Head Coordinator of Hope Builders Negros Island Inc. (HBONI) – Candoni and Civil Society Organization (CSO) President of Candoni has been officially elected as Federation Secretary during the Provincial People’s Council (PPC) organizational meeting and election held today, April 8, 2026, at Gallery B, Negros Museum, Gatuslao Street, Bacolod City.
This election marks a historic milestone, as it is the first time in the province’s history that the youth sector from represented by HBONI member has participated in the Provincial CSO gathering. This representation reflects the active involvement of the youth sector in local governance—signaling a new era of civic engagement.
The said event was organized by the Province of Negros Occidental, in accordance with DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2021-054, gathering elected People’s Council representatives from various municipalities and cities in the said provinc, aimed to promote dynamic collaboration between Local Government Units (LGUs) and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs).
