Eight years of building hope, transforming lives, and growing togetherโthis is what Pagtililipon 2026 stands for. From April 17 to 19, 2026, members of the Hope Builders Organization Negros Island Inc. (HBONI) gathered at Punta Bulata Camping Area for a meaningful celebration of milestones, memories, and mission.
The three-day journey began with ๐๐ฎ๐ 1: ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ด๐ฏ๐๐ฏ๐๐ธ๐น๐ผ๐ฑ, as participants arrived and settled into the campsite. The evening opened with a shared dinner, followed by tent assignments and a general orientation. The first day concluded with a discussion of house rules and guidelines to ensure a safe and organized event for everyone.
On ๐๐ฎ๐ 2: ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ด๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐ป๐ด ๐ฎ๐ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ด๐ธ๐ถ๐น๐ผ๐, the energy heightened as the day began with morning exercises. Participants then engaged in orientation sessions that set the tone for deeper learning and collaboration. Activities such as โKwento Ko, Kwento Moโ and team formation fostered stronger connections and a sense of identityโreminding everyone that unity is the foundation of meaningful impact.
A key highlight of the day was the session led by Ms. Delyn Bello, HBONI Director for Administration and Finance. She discussed the objectives of the event and guided participants in a workshop where they identified pressing issues within their communities. Each group was tasked with drafting project proposals that offered practical and sustainable solutions, which they later presented.
In the afternoon, participants took part in dynamic team-building activities facilitated by the 15th Infantry โMolave Warriorโ Battalion. The activities challenged teamwork, trust, and resilience, while also providing moments of fun and excitement.
As evening came, the celebration continued with the HBONI 2026 Baliktaran. Each team showcased their creativity and team spirit by presenting their candidates, expressing their support through performances filled with energy and enthusiasm. The night was filled with laughter, camaraderie, and unforgettable moments.
Day 2 concluded with reflection sessions and collaboration, allowing participants to process their experiences and turn their ideas into actionable steps for community development.
